1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Ryan Spangler of Edina, Minnesota, for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Ryan Spangler is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 3123 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, Ryan started his Scouting journey as a Cub Scout in kindergarten; and
1.10WHEREAS, Ryan has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.11community service project, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle
1.12Scout; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on February 26, 2023; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Ryan Spangler of Edina, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Ryan Spangler.
