1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Owen Carlin of Faribault, Minnesota, for earning the rank of Eagle
1.3Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Owen Carlin is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 9306 and has
1.9displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Owen has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills, has completed a
1.11community service project that involved refurbishing eight picnic tables for River Bend Nature
1.12Center in Faribault, and has fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle
1.13Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on May 29, 2022; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Owen Carlin of Faribault, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.18copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.19Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Owen Carlin.
