1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Antonio Richard Vandal for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Antonio Richard Vandal is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member, and he was presented the National
1.9Certification of Merit from the BSA on February 18, 2012, for his part in rescuing his friend on a
1.10canoe trip; and
1.11WHEREAS, Antonio Richard Vandal has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and
1.12has completed a community service project, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain
1.13the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on June 8, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. at the North
1.15Star Museum of Boy Scouting and Girl Scouting in North St. Paul; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Antonio Richard Vandal for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Antonio Richard Vandal.
