1.1A Senate resolution
1.2celebrating Mary Boudreau on her 63 years of employment at Faribault
1.3Woolen Mills Company.
1.4WHEREAS, those people who have contributed greatly to their places of employment
1.5perform an important service deserving of special legislative recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Mary Boudreau began her career at Faribault Woolen Mills Company in 1954,
1.7at a time when jobs at the Mill were highly coveted and hard to get; and
1.8WHEREAS, Mary's first job with the Mill was as a magazine filler in the weaving department,
1.9where she has worked for the past 63 years; and
1.10WHEREAS, Mary's work ethic, dedication, and leadership have been an inspiration for more
1.11than a generation and will be part of the fabric of the Mill forever; and
1.12WHEREAS, a celebration for Mary will be held on May 30, 2019; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Mary Boudreau on her 63 years of employment at Faribault Woolen Mills Company.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.16enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.17Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Mary Boudreau.
