1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Mitchell David Miller of St. Cloud for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Mitchell David Miller is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 14 who
1.8has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member, demonstrated mastery of all
1.9scouting skills, and earned 31 merit badges; and
1.10WHEREAS, for his community service project Mitchell led a team of scouts in building
1.11two full-size picnic tables for a county park; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held in June at the Central Minnesota
1.13Council Office in Sartell in recognition of Mitchell David Miller; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Mitchell David Miller of St. Cloud, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Mitchell David Miller.
