1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating the Insurance Federation of Minnesota for its 100th
1.3anniversary.
1.4WHEREAS, the Insurance Federation of Minnesota is a state trade association that
1.5represents the interests of the state's insurance industry and its customers; and
1.6WHEREAS, the mission of the Insurance Federation of Minnesota is to be an effective
1.7advocate for public policies that encourage the growth and continued success of the insurance
1.8industry in a free enterprise system; and
1.9WHEREAS, the Insurance Federation of Minnesota was founded on September 11,
1.101914; and
1.11WHEREAS, the Insurance Federation of Minnesota has labored for 100 years to ensure that
1.12the state's insurance laws are fair and reasonable, and work to the benefit of all Minnesotans; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates the Insurance Federation of Minnesota for its 100 years of outstanding service to the
1.15insurance industry and the citizens of Minnesota.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare
1.17an enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of
1.18the Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to the Insurance
1.19Federation of Minnesota.
