1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Aaron Dockendorf for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Aaron Dockendorf is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 18 and has
1.7displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project, which involved building benches at the Mississippi River Park and
1.10Rockville County Park; at the Rockville Park, the bench was situated so that people sitting on the
1.11bench had a view of an active eagle's nest; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Aaron Dockendorf for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Aaron Dockendorf.
