1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Christopher Reisdorf for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Christopher Reisdorf is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has
1.7displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project, which involved constructing bat boxes and placing them in Quarry
1.10Park to help local bat populations withstand the devastating White Nose Syndrome; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on June 28, 2015; and
1.12NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.13congratulates Christopher Reisdorf for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.15copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.16Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Christopher Reisdorf.
