1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Nicholas Angelo Witte of St. Cloud for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Nicholas Angelo Witte is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 6 and
1.8has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved landscaping improvements to the St. Mary Help of
1.11Christians School playground; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on August 12, 2015, in recognition of
1.13Nicholas Angelo Witte; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Nicholas Angelo Witte for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Nicholas Angelo Witte.
