1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring Erich Hoffmann for receiving a Changing Attitudes Award from the Arc
1.3Greater Twin Cities.
1.4WHEREAS, the Arc advocates for the rights and full participation of all children and
1.5adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and
1.6WHEREAS, the Arc's Changing Attitudes Award recognizes those who positively change
1.7public perceptions of people with disabilities; and
1.8WHEREAS, Erich Hoffmann is deserving of this prestigious award, and represents a
1.9great example of how community inclusion works; working together with his family, the Arc,
1.10and the community, Erich has changed lives and attitudes and positively impacted all who have
1.11been fortunate enough to get to know him; and
1.12WHEREAS, at the Arc's annual volunteer and award lunch on Friday, May 1, 2015,
1.13Erich Hoffmann received a Changing Attitudes Award, a tremendous honor deserving of special
1.14legislative recognition; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota
1.16that it congratulates Erich Hoffmann for receiving a Changing Attitudes Award from the Arc,
1.17and extends best wishes to him for the future.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.19enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.20Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Erich Hoffmann.
