1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Justin Rain Scheerer of Red Wing, Minnesota, for earning
1.3the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Justin Rain Scheerer is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 32 and
1.9has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Justin has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.11community service project, which involved designing and installing a labyrinth at Red Cottage
1.12Montessori in Red Wing and teaching the students the difference between a labyrinth and a maze,
1.13and he fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout on May 26, 2019;
1.14and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on August 25, 2019; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Justin Rain Scheerer of Red Wing, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Justin Rain Scheerer.
