1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Brett Drevlow of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, for receiving the
1.3Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Brett Drevlow is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has displayed the
1.8attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project; his project involved building and installing five eco-friendly park
1.11benches along the 7.3-mile "Riverwalk" trail system for the city of Thief River Falls, and
1.12providing much-needed maintenance on the 15 pictographs along the trail; and
1.13WHEREAS, Brett also redesigned and installed a missing pictograph sign in the Northland
1.14College section of the trails; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Brett Drevlow of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Brett Drevlow.
