1.2congratulating Gabe Hall of Cannon Falls High School on winning
1.3first place in weightlifting in the 2015 Minnesota State High School
1.4Championship.
1.5WHEREAS, competitive sports in our high schools are helpful in teaching the principles of
1.6sportsmanship and fair play, thereby contributing to better citizenship; and
1.7WHEREAS, Gabe Hall participated in the 2015 Minnesota State High School
1.8Championship on March 7, 2015, at Lakeville South High School; and
1.9WHEREAS, Gabe won first place in weightlifting; and
1.10NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.11congratulations are extended to Gabe Hall of Cannon Falls High School for his sportsmanship
1.12and skill.
1.13BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare
1.14an enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of
1.15the Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Gabe Hall of
1.16Cannon Falls High School.
