1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating David Fleming of Alexandria, Minnesota, for earning the
1.3rank of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, David Fleming is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 412 and has
1.9displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, David Fleming has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills, has earned
1.11over 50 merit badges, has completed a community service project, and fulfilled all other requirements
1.12necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates David Fleming of Alexandria, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to David Fleming.
