1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Anders Brovold of New Prague, Minnesota, for earning the rank of
1.3Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Anders Brovold is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 9323 and
1.9has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Anders has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.11community service project, which involved building houses for the avian wildlife at Ney Nature
1.12Center in Henderson, Minnesota, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank
1.13of Eagle Scout. The project included building six bluebird houses, two bat houses, two kestrel
1.14boxes, and a chimney swift tower to help accommodate the growing population of wildlife at the
1.15center and replace some houses at the center that had fallen into disrepair; and
1.16WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on April 24, 2022; and
1.17NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.18congratulates Anders Brovold of New Prague, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.19BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.20copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.21Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Anders Brovold.
