1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Jonah T. Warner for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Jonah T. Warner is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has displayed the
1.7attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.9service project, which involved collecting and overhauling 26 bikes for children from the Boys
1.10and Girls Club of Central Minnesota and distributing the bikes to them, with sessions on bike
1.11safety from the St. Cloud Police Department and bike maintenance from Scheels All Sports; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at
1.13Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Jonah T. Warner for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Jonah T. Warner.
