1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Kolten McClure for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Kolten McClure, a senior at Anoka High School and PSEO student at Bethel
1.8University, is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 3233 in Anoka and has displayed the
1.9attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Kolten has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.11community service project, which involved building the horseshoe pits at Haven for Heroes, and
1.12fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout on March 11, 2024; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Kolten McClure for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Kolten McClure.
