1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Hunter Lindquist for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Hunter Lindquist is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 408 and has
1.7displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project, which involved reconstructing the Bell Tower at Christ Lutheran
1.10Church in Blaine, including landscaping the Bell Tower site, initiating and implementing the
1.11project, and supervising over two dozen volunteers; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at
1.13Presbyterian Church of the Way in Shoreview; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Hunter Lindquist for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Hunter Lindquist.
