1.2congratulating James Cragun of Ironton, Minnesota, for receiving the 1.3Eagle Award. 1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and 1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement 1.6that is worthy of recognition; and 1.7WHEREAS, James Cragun is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has displayed the 1.8attributes of a responsible and serving member; and 1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a 1.10community service project; and 1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Salem 1.12Lutheran Church in Deerwood; and 1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it 1.14congratulates James Cragun of Ironton, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award. 1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a 1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the 1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to James Cragun.
