1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating James R. Hill of Zimmerman, Minnesota, for receiving
1.3the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, James R. Hill is a member of the venturing program of the Boy Scouts of
1.8America Crew 961 and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved training scouts to plant trees in the tornado ravaged
1.11town of Wadena in an effective way to get the utmost survival of the trees; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held in his honor at the 4H Camp at Ann
1.13Lake in Sand Dunes National Forest; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates James R. Hill of Zimmerman, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to James R. Hill.
