1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Brandon Joseph Plante for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Brandon Joseph Plante is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 524 and
1.7has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project, which involved installing six new benches along the Coon Rapids
1.10trail between Lions Park and Foley Boulevard; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013; and
1.12NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.13congratulates Brandon Joseph Plante for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.15copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.16Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Brandon Joseph Plante.
