1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Zachary Abrahm Thomson of Alexandria, Minnesota, for
1.3receiving the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Zachary Abrahm Thomson is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved installing benches at the United Methodist Church in
1.11Alexandria, as well as restaining the playground equipment and playground timbers; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Zachary Abrahm Thomson of Alexandria, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Zachary Abrahm Thomson.
