1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Esther Blesi on her 100th birthday.
1.3WHEREAS, our communities are blessed by the presence of those who have lived long lives
1.4and who are part of our living history; and
1.5WHEREAS, having a 100th birthday is a joyous occasion and a time to honor and congratulate
1.6the celebrant; and
1.7WHEREAS, Esther Major was born on February 27, 1919, in Bemidji; and
1.8WHEREAS, she married Milo Blesi and spent most of their married life in Rockford; and
1.9WHEREAS, a celebration for her 100th birthday will be held on February 23, 2019, at
1.10Huikko's Entertainment Center in Buffalo; and
1.11NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.12congratulates Esther Blesi on her 100th birthday.
1.13BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.14enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.15Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Esther Blesi.
