1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Michael Heimermann of Lewiston, Minnesota, for earning the rank of
1.3Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Michael Heimermann, a student at Lewiston-Altura High School, is a member
1.9of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 18 and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving
1.10member; and
1.11WHEREAS, Michael has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.12community service project, which involved designing and building a 12-hole, par 3 disc golf course
1.13at the Crossings Center in Lewiston, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank
1.14of Eagle Scout; and
1.15WHEREAS, Michael plans to put the lessons he learned and the leadership skills he developed
1.16in Scouting to use during his time at college, at ROTC, and in the Army National Guard; and
1.17WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on April 30, 2023, at the Crossings Center
1.18in Lewiston; and
1.19NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.20congratulates Michael Heimermann of Lewiston, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.21BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.22copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.23Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Michael Heimermann.
