1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Zachary Schultz of Lewiston, Minnesota, for earning the rank
1.3of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Zachary Schultz, a student at Lewiston-Altura High School, is a member of
1.9the Boy Scouts of America Troop 18 and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving
1.10member; and
1.11WHEREAS, Zachary has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.12community service project, which involved the installation of a large welcome sign at the entrance
1.13to the Lewiston Prairie Trails Park in Lewiston, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to
1.14attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on April 30, 2023, at the Crossings Center
1.16in Lewiston; and
1.17NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.18congratulates Zachary Schultz of Lewiston, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.19BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.20copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.21Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Zachary Schultz.
