1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Dan Wallerius of Albertville, Minnesota, for receiving the
1.3Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Dan Wallerius is a member of the St. Michael-Albertville Boy Scouts of
1.8America Troop 547 and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which consisted of constructing an outdoor classroom for the
1.11Albertville Primary School; and
1.12WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of America Board of Review met on Thursday, December
1.1316, 2010, and bestowed the rank of Eagle Scout on Dan; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Dan Wallerius of Albertville, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Dan Wallerius.
