1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Thomas Indykiewicz of Oakdale, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Thomas Indykiewicz is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved constructing and installing three bat houses in the
1.11Oakdale Nature Preserve; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011; NOW,
1.13THEREFORE,
1.14BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it congratulates Thomas
1.15Indykiewicz of Oakdale, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Thomas Indykiewicz.
