1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Richard and Alice Peters of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, on their
1.360th wedding anniversary.
1.4WHEREAS, a wedding anniversary is a joyous occasion and a time to honor and congratulate
1.5the celebrants; and
1.6WHEREAS, Richard and Alice Peters were married on September 9, 1958, in Padua,
1.7Minnesota; and
1.8WHEREAS, their 60 years of marriage have been an example of love, trust, and commitment;
1.9and
1.10WHEREAS, they have eight children, 22 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; and
1.11WHEREAS, family and friends will gather to share in a celebration on September 9, 2018,
1.12at the Tutti Fruitti Market Farm in Sauk Centre; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Richard and Alice Peters on their 60th wedding anniversary and wishes them continued
1.15happiness.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.17enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.18Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Richard and Alice
1.19Peters.
