A bill for an act
 relating to labor; appropriating money for grants to
the Vinland Center for rehabilitation services.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.

$150,000 in fiscal year 2006 and $150,000 in fiscal year
2007 is appropriated from the workers' compensation fund to the
commissioner of labor and industry for grants to the Vinland
Center for rehabilitation services. These grants include the
Vinland employment program and must address multiple barriers to
employment, a self-sufficiency lifestyle, and physical, mental,
emotional, or cognitive work injuries or disabilities. This
appropriation is part of the budget base for the Department of
Labor and Industry.
