  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Washington county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; WASHINGTON 
  1.7   COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Washington county may sell by private 
  1.10  sale to an adjacent landowner, but for not less than the 
  1.11  appraised value, the tax-forfeited land bordering public water 
  1.12  that is described in paragraph (c), under the remaining 
  1.13  provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.14     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.15  attorney general. 
  1.16     (c) The parcel of land that may be conveyed is located in 
  1.17  Washington county and is described as Lot 6, Block 3, Valley 
  1.18  Hills, Section 12, Township 32 North, Range 21 West. 
  1.19     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.20  management interests would best be served if the land was 
  1.21  returned to private ownership.
