  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; requiring a trout and 
  1.3             salmon stamp to possess trout and salmon taken by 
  1.4             angling; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 
  1.5             97C.305, subdivision 1. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 97C.305, 
  1.8   subdivision 1, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [REQUIREMENT.] Except as provided in 
  1.10  subdivision 2, a person over age 16 and under age 65 required to 
  1.11  possess an angling license must have a trout and salmon stamp in 
  1.12  possession to: 
  1.13     (1) take fish by angling in: 
  1.14     (1) (i) a stream designated by the commissioner as a trout 
  1.15  stream; 
  1.16     (2) (ii) a lake designated by the commissioner as a trout 
  1.17  lake; or 
  1.18     (3) (iii) Lake Superior; or 
  1.19     (2) possess trout or salmon taken by angling.
