  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to municipal tort liability; exempting county 
  1.3             officers, employees, and agents from liability for 
  1.4             good faith actions arising from the exercise of the 
  1.5             power of eminent domain with respect to county and 
  1.6             county state-aid highways; amending Minnesota Statutes 
  1.7             2002, section 466.03, by adding a subdivision.  
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 466.03, is 
  1.10  amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.11     Subd. 23.  [HIGHWAY EMINENT DOMAIN.] Any claim for a loss 
  1.12  arising from a good faith action of a county in exercising the 
  1.13  power of eminent domain with respect to a county highway or 
  1.14  county state-aid highway.
