A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant to the Minnesota
Somali Community Center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the Minnesota Somali Community
Center to acquire, design and construct renovation of, furnish, and equip a property located
at 1801 Nicollet Avenue South in the city of Minneapolis. The new center will provide
behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment to immigrant families. This
appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota
Statutes, section 16A.642.
