relating to human services; appropriating money for a grant to Red Lake Nation
for human services administration and implementation.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; RED LAKE NATION HUMAN SERVICES.

new text begin $1,500,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services for a grant to the Red Lake Nation for the direct implementation and
administrative costs of the Red Lake Human Services Initiative Project authorized under
Minnesota Statutes, section 256.01, subdivision 2, paragraph (a), clause (7). The base for
this appropriation is $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2027.
