relating to human services; appropriating money for capital improvements of Twin
Cities Health Services' location.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; TWIN CITIES HEALTH SERVICES CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS.

new text begin $6,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services for a payment to the city of Minneapolis for the development, expansion,
and construction at Twin Cities Health Services' current location of additional housing
facilities and physical infrastructure. The improvements shall enhance accessibility and
capacity to provide culturally competent substance use disorder services, withdrawal
management, medication assisted therapy, and mental health care for individuals with
co-occurring diagnoses. This is a onetime appropriation.
