A bill for an act
 relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to VoCul
workforce development program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated to the commissioner of labor and industry for
a grant to the VoCul workforce development program to address the shortage of skilled
culinary professionals in the local food industry. Grant proceeds may be used to provide
virtual and hands-on training, practical experience, and connections to jobs, industry
professionals, and continuing education. This is a onetime appropriation.
