A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant to the Asian
American Business Resiliency Network.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ASIAN AMERICAN BUSINESS RESILIENCY
NETWORK.

new text begin $8,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the Asian American Business
Resiliency Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for the predesign, design, renovation,
construction, furnishing, and equipping of a new world cultural heritage corridor at 425
Rice Street in St. Paul. This appropriation is available until the project is completed or
abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime appropriation.
