A bill for an act
 relating to local government; appropriating money to study collaborative delivery
methods for municipal wastewater construction projects.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; STUDY OF COLLABORATIVE PROJECT
DELIVERY METHODS FOR MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER CONSTRUCTION.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of administration to study the use of collaborative project delivery methods, including
design-build and construction manager at-risk, for municipal wastewater construction
projects carried out under Minnesota Statutes, section 471.345. The study must provide a
review of the barriers to increased use of collaborative project delivery methods and an
assessment of the potential benefits of using collaborative project delivery methods for
municipal wastewater construction projects.
