relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to Farmers
Market 360.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; FARMERS MARKET 360.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Farmers Market 360, a collaborative
metrics service, for the collection of economic data that assists farmers in making business
and pricing decisions. Farmers Market 360 may also use the funds appropriated to collaborate
with the Statewide Cooperative Partnership to continue their data collection efforts for
Minnesota's local foodshed.
