relating to environment; appropriating money to monitor PFAS in wastewater.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; MONITORING PFAS IN WASTEWATER.

new text begin $600,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of the Pollution Control Agency to contract for a coordinated monitoring program for
perfluoroalkyl and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as indicated in the Wastewater Program
Plan portion of the agency's PFAS Monitoring Plan (March 2022). This is a onetime
appropriation and is available until December 31, 2024.
