A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; modifying an earlier appropriation for environmental
cleanup in Wadena; amending Laws 2018, chapter 214, article 1, section 16,
subdivision 14, as amended.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2018, chapter 214, article 1, section 16, subdivision 14, as amended by
Laws 2023, chapter 72, article 3, section 8, is amended to read:


Subd. 14.

Wadena - U.S. Highway 10
Environmental Cleanup

 5,000,000

From the bond proceeds account in the state
transportation fund as provided in Minnesota
Statutes, section 174.50, for a grant to the city
of Wadena for environmental analysis and
environmental cleanupnew text begin , including replacement
and removal of water main and sanitary sewer
infrastructure,new text end and construction of storm water
drainage withinnew text begin and nearnew text end the marked U.S.
Highway 10 corridor in the city of Wadena.
Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section
16A.642, the bond authorization and
appropriation of bond proceeds for this project
are available until December 31, 2026.
