relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Northwest Indian
Community Development Center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin NORTHWEST INDIAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTER;
BELTRAMI COUNTY.

new text begin $3,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of employment
and economic development for a grant to Beltrami County to acquire property for a Northwest
Indian Community Development Center in Beltrami County. This appropriation does not
require a nonstate match. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is
completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
