relating to education; requiring a minimum time for recess; proposing coding for
new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 121A.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin (a) A school district or charter school must provide students in kindergarten through
grade 5 with at least 45 minutes of recess each school day.
