for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 504B.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin A landlord may not increase rent, in any residential building owned by the landlord that
contains one or more dwelling units subsidized by a state or federal housing program, by
an amount that exceeds the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index published by
the Bureau of Labor Statistics for the preceding year.
