A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money to fund the costs of the
construction of certain homes funded by the community homeownership impact
fund program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $375,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for a grant to United Community Action
Partnership, a not-for-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Code, to fund the costs of construction of homes funded in whole or in part by the community
homeownership impact fund program administered by the agency. The costs of construction
includes but is not limited to labor costs related to the prevailing wage requirements under
Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.871. This is a onetime appropriation.
