A bill for an act
 relating to local government; authorizing Itasca County to establish a revolving
loan fund to upgrade failing septic systems.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin ITASCA COUNTY REVOLVING LOAN FUND AUTHORIZED.

new text begin Notwithstanding Laws 1998, chapter 389, article 16, section 31, subdivision 4,
as amended, Itasca County may use up to $2,000,000 of the principal of the county
environmental trust fund to establish a revolving loan fund to finance the upgrade or
replacement of failing septic systems within the county.
