A bill for an act
relating to public safety; appropriating money to expand the downtown security
collaborative in Minneapolis.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... is appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007, from the general
fund to the commissioner of public safety for a grant to the city of Minneapolis. This
grant money is to be used by the Minneapolis Police Department to expand the worksite
system throughout the city that supports the downtown security collaborative currently
in use in the city's first precinct.
