A bill for an act
relating to education finance; creating a financial incentive for school districts
to share superintendents; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes
2004, section 123B.143, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 123B.143, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Each school district that shares a
superintendent under subdivision 1 is annually eligible for state aid equal to $30,000.
