A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; requiring direct access to highway 371 for certain
parcels of land.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin ACCESS TO HIGHWAY 371.

new text begin The commissioner of transportation shall approve and grant direct access by road
to marked Trunk Highway 371 from parcel number 89-030-1212 in Cass County. The
commissioner shall enter into an agreement with the parcel owner to grant a permanent
easment for direct ingress and egress purposes to and from the parcel and highway for
a consideration not to exceed $200. The agreement must be filed with the Cass County
recorder before January 1, 2009.
