  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; providing funding 
  1.3             for the historic Grimm farm program/support facility; 
  1.4             authorizing state bonds; appropriating money. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [HISTORIC GRIMM FARM PROGRAM/SUPPORT FACILITY.] 
  1.7      $500,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of trade and economic development for a grant to 
  1.9   the suburban Hennepin regional park district to construct, as 
  1.10  part of phase II development of the historic Grimm farm located 
  1.11  in Carver park reserve, a program/support facility.  
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [BOND AUTHORIZATION.] 
  1.13     To provide the money appropriated in this act from the bond 
  1.14  proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance shall sell and issue 
  1.15  bonds of the state in an amount up to $500,000 in the manner, 
  1.16  upon the terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota 
  1.17  Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota 
  1.18  Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.19     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.20     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
